Department of Further Education, Employment, Science and Technology

The Department of Further Education, Employment, Science and Technology (DFEEST) is an agency of the Government of South Australia whose responsibilities include:

• Administering TAFE SA, the public provider of vocational education and training (VET)in South Australia
• Overseeing quality assurance procedures for all VET providers operating in the state
• Coordinating higher education in the state
• Developing and implementing policies for youth through the Office for Youth.
• Science and Innovation
